   3. Explanation
          E2V Teledyne is the only world wide supplier of these valves. Whilst research is being done into alternatives, solid state equivalents are currently not able to perform in the same way as the valves. These Valves are the only values that are compatible and deliver the specified outputs required for the ISIS kicker system.
