To be included within the initial selection stage to this Dynamic Purchasing System indicative tender submissions are required by 16:00 Tuesday 02 April 2013. Providers will be allowed to submit an indicative tender for admission to this DPS at any time during its operation. Notification of all specific contract requirements will subsequently be made to all providers admitted to this DPS and by the issue of a Simplified Contract Notice.
This DPS will commence from the date of this notice and will last for a period of two years, with the option to extend by increments of one year to a maximum period of four years.

Dorset County Council considers that the range of services to be purchased from this tender should be awarded as a multiple supplier DPS and therefore seeks applications from suitably experienced suppliers. Every effort has been made to consider the full scope of the requirement, however this is not a guarantee of the volume of the required services that will result from this tender or that it will accept any tender on completion of the tender exercise.
Services purchased from the DPS are required to be available to all the directorates, establishments, and departments of Dorset County Council.
Educational Establishments
Schools within the County of Dorset will also be eligible to use the services provided through this Dynamic Purchasing System. This includes all schools maintained by Local Education Authorities (LEA), Academies (whenever they convert), Secondary, (including Middle deemed Secondary), Primary, Special and Pupil Referral Units.
Public Sector Organisations
Dorset County Council may also deliver Transport Services on behalf of other Public Sector Organisations within the County of Dorset. Where this is the case the services offered under this Dynamic Purchasing System will be available to the relevant Local Authority.
The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement, and the contract will be awarded on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender.
