Northern Lighthouse Board requires the supply, manufacture, testing, commissioning, trial erection off-site and delivery to NLB Oban Depot, Gallanach Road, Oban, Argyll PA34 4LS of Two (2) replacement stainless steel Minor Light Structures for the unlit beacons at Sgeir Golach, and Bogha Dubh Sgeir, with an option of two (2) further structures for Sgeir Ghobhlach and Sgeir Thraid, Raasay.

The structure consists of a support structure of a single stainless steel column, including baseplates and fixings, a top platform with handrailing, pedestal and access ladder. The full specification is detailed within the tender document and is available upon request.

      VI.4.2)Lodging of appeals: The Northern Lighthouse Board will inocrporate a minimum 10 calendar day standstill period at the point of information on the award of the contrct communicated to tenderers. This period allows unsuccessful tenderers to seek further debriefing from the contracting authority before the contract is entered into. Applicants have 2 working days from the notification of the award decision to request addiitonal debriefing and that the information has to be provided a minimum of 3 working days before the expiry of the standstill period. Such information should be required from the person named at 1.1.
If any appeal regarding the award of a contract has not been successfully resolved the Public Contracts (Amendment) Regulations 2009 (SI2009/2992) provides for the aggreived parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of rules to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland) and the Sheriff Court, the Court of Session (Scotland). Any such action must be brought promptly (generally within 3 months).
