      Computer-related services. University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust (the Trust) is seeking a replacement system for its current Electronic Patient Observations Track and Trigger System (EPOTTS).
The trust has a vision that by 2016 it will record, store and retrieve all active health records electronically. To deliver this an Electronic Patient Record (EPR) strategy has been agreed which will be technically delivered through a "three pillar" model. The central pillar is the Clinical Results Reporting System (CRRS) which is web based and has been developed internally. It has many of the features of an electronic patient record system, including the requesting of tests and images, clinical assessments, support for patient discharge and clinical correspondence. The other pillars will be an Electronic Document Management System (EDM) and EPOTTS.
It is the intention of the Trust that the selected EPOTTS solution should eventually be extensively integrated into CRRS such that users of the web based application experience a near seamless use of both systems. The Trust has little experience of developing applications for heand held and mobile devices and would therefore hope to exploit the capabilities inherent in an EPOTTS solution to deliver additional capability to the hands of our nursing staff.
The contract is to provide an EPOTTS for the Trust including:

Training
Implementation Support including provisions of, and support for, changes required for compliance with Government legislation and

Expressions of interest must be by way of completion and return of the pre-qualification questionnaire (PPQ) (in accordance with the requirements as set out within) by the date and time specified in section IV.3.4 All interested organisations are required to return their completed pre-qualifications questionnaires (PPQ) on or before the submission deadline indicated in the tender documents.
