The Department for International Development, DFID, is providing support to the Government of Kenya’s (GOK) efforts, towards attaining the country’s development goals. DFID’s investments in health are primarily targeted at strengthening health systems, preventing malaria and HIV, and improving reproductive health. 2. DFID is implementing a new family planning programme (from 2013-2017) aimed at increasing family planning uptake in Kenya. The outcome of the programme will be an increased contraceptive prevalence rate. The impact will be to reduce maternal and new-born deaths. The goal of the programme is to increase uptake of Family Planning service with specific emphasis on reaching rural women and to increase the proportion of young adolescent girls served (age 16-19 years). 3. Charles Kendall & Partners (CKP) are the Procurement Agent acting for and on behalf of British Government (DFID) and now invite Tenderers who wish to Express an Interest for the supply of Family Planning Commodities, Implants and Condoms, to contact CKP as per the below details. 4. Supplier(s) will be selected under a Restricted Tendering Procedure the evaluation procedures for which are described in the Request for Expressions of Interest (REOI) document. 5.
