      Essex County Council (ECC) is considering options for a Countywide Community Wellbeing and Resilience Service, tackling Health Inequalities at its heart. This service will deliver traditional health improvement programmes, including but not limited to, smoking cessation, weight management and NHS health checks. This approach represents a move from traditional service delivery to community owned support options where appropriate. ECC invites prospective providers to attend a market engagement event on Monday 20th April 2020.       This service will deliver traditional health improvement programmes, including but not limited to, smoking cessation, weight management and NHS health checks. This approach represents a move from traditional service delivery to community owned support options where appropriate. ECC is seeking to collaborate with traditional and non-traditional actors around digital first, shared social missions of purpose to drive behaviour change that delivers real outcomes with people at pace and scale. ECC aspires to achieve a social movement to improve the health and wellbeing of our residents and expect Providers to aspire to a similar vision.    
   II.2.14) Additional information          
      The stated contractual value is based on an annual value of £4,500,000 over a maximum 7 year term which is due to be conducted under an initial 5 year term with the option to extend for a further 2 years. This is an indicative value and the Council reserves the right to amend this figure which will be verified within the corresponding contract notice for the forthcoming procurement opportunity.
