It is anticipated that the design team will include all the necessary technical services to deliver the project including administration of the construction contract. The supplier will also provide advice to the University on the procurement of a construction supplier during RIBA Stages 2 & 3. Due to the nature of the design services the University anticipates that a Building Services Engineer will lead the design team. This procurement does not includes Principal Designer, Project Manager & Quantity Surveying Services as these appointments will be made separately by the University.

It is expected that the designers will then design and specify the agreed solution, procure and administer the construction contract. The scope of work is to include establishing the MEP systems’ condition and ventilation strategy. This includes the review of:

•Fire Compartmentation & Fire Stopping
