II.2.4) Description of the procurement: The purpose of this tender process is to identify a supplier who is capable of providing all required firewall software, hardware and licences, in accordance with Trinity House’s Statement of Requirements.
To expand upon this, planning and conducting a review of the existing infrastructure will be required, in addition to providing a project plan and design, including a migration process. A review and redesign of rulebase(s) for all existing Blade elements, including Firewall, Application Control, IPS, ThreatEmulation, VPN etc. including implementation onto new hardware will be necessary. Further to providing the new firewall software and hardware, setup and deployment, testing and onsite presence during go-live will be required. The new hardware will need to be configured to match user requirements and the design will be agreed upon. Tender submissions must also account for any work required after an external penetration test to ensure the firewall is fully 'compliant' to Trinity House’s expectations, such as having no Critical or High risks as a minimum. This requirement will not include general networking configuration, or the provision of VMs where required. Service and support contracts will be required and are included in the scope.
Location of contract performance will be predominantly at Trinity House in Harwich, Essex and Tower Hill, London.
Due to the sensitive information that is contained within the Invitation to Tender, a Confidentiality – Non-Disclosure Agreement is required prior to accessing this requirement. Tenderers are reminded to uphold the terms of this agreement throughout the tender process. Regulation 21 (3) from The Public Contracts Regulations 2015 applies.
