Short Description: | The requirement is for the provision of a support service and the management of a residential children's home located in Wandsworth. Additionally, the service will provide specialist outreach support to children who move back into the community at the end of their stay in residential care. Wandsworth Borough Council, like many local authorities has significant concerns over a small but significant number of hard to place young people aged from 11 to 17. Children and young people who need the care, help and protection of the Council will have experienced loss, rejection and other traumatic events. Experience and dedication is needed to ensure these children and young people are able to thrive and succeed into an independent and happy adulthood. The Council is therefore seeking a provider who has a proven track record and ability to run a Children’s Home that specialises in addressing the needs of this complex group. |
