Short Description: Haringey Council invites tenders from suitably experienced and qualified providers for the provision of a Carers Support Service. The aim of this service is to improve the quality of life of carers in Haringey and enhance their caring experience. The service provider will provide a range of person centred, co-ordinated and outcome focused services that will contribute to improving outcomes for all carers in Haringey. As a result of accessing the services, carers will be able to say: 1.I can care effectively and safely; 2.I can look after my own health and wellbeing; 3.I have realised and fulfilled my own potential and aspirations (including employment and training opportunities); and 4.I can enjoy a life of my own alongside my caring responsibilities, including access to opportunities and / or a break from caring. 5.I can easily access the right information, advice and guidance at the right time 6.I am developing skills which allow me to be more independent 7.I am able to have fulfilling relationships and no longer feel isolated Length of contract: The contract will be awarded for two years with the option to extend for a further period of one year (maximum 3 years).
