Short Description: The V&A is seeking experience providers of complex screen technology platforms for its new Exhibition Road entrance. The Exhibition Road entrance will open in 2017 and deliver a world class visitor experience in line with the V&A’s FuturePlan programme. The platform will be used to provide a self-service experience for V&A visitors to buy exhibition tickets and obtain information regarding their visit. It is required that the devices will be placed side by side as a bank of 8 large (55inch) screens which are controlled centrally. The platform should be capable of being managed as individual screens or as a single, seamless viewing experience across the bank of screens. The V&A requires that the platform is capable of the following: •Large display screen technology on which content can be delivered individually or as a single experience across multiple screens •The screens should be capable of HD quality content display •Each screen should be capable of touch-screen use, allowing for visitor use without staff engagement •Each screen should have a bezel width of no more than 3mm, to ensure a smooth experience when delivering content across multiple screens •The screens need to sit side by side without any interference from each other (specifically when visitors use the touch screen technology) •The content delivery/management platform needs to be capable of delivering multiple content sources, including video, imagery, browser based solutions •The platform should integrate seamlessly with the ticketing sales solution being delivered through a browser based solution and including a physical chip and pin device As a provider of such technology, you will have experience of delivering platforms that combine content delivery across multiple screens as well as touch-sensitive usage as this is an essential requirement of this solution.
