      Leicester City Council and Leicester City CCG are seeking to engage with the market and share current thinking around the future purchasing of domiciliary support in the City. Domiciliary support is one of the key services delivered to people primarily in their own homes and includes personal care, meal preparation and support to enable people to be as independent as possible. The Council will be holding two further engagements sessions to discuss the above on Monday 1 August 2016 at 2:00pm and Tuesday 2 August 2016 at 10:00am at Adult Education Centre 2 Wellington Street Leicester.       Domiciliary support helps people to remain independent and prevents them from needing a higher level of support such as residential or nursing care. Two main types of care are commissioned by the CCG-Leicester NHS and Council, non-complex and complex/specialist.
The Council wishes to identify a number of providers with whom it will enter into a Framework Agreement.
