NHS Bromley Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is inviting Expressions of Interest from providers of community services for a future procurement opportunity.

NHS Bromley CCG is seeking to procure a wide range of community services. The services procured will be split into 3 lots as outlined below. Providers are invited to express interests in any or all of the 3 lots. The terms of the contracts awarded will be for 5 years with the option to extend by 2 years.

Lot 2: Adult Community Based Services
Lot 3: Integrated Rapid Response and Transfer of Care services including Rehabilitation

NHS Bromley CCG wants to commission local community services in line with the Bromley Out-of-Hospital Transformation Programme. Healthcare services cannot operate in isolation and must be delivered in line with key principles of integration, including the implementation of three Integrated Care Networks (ICNs) across the borough to deliver better integrated working between primary, community, and all other health and social care services. By integrating care pathways, patients will have better access to the right care, closer to home, from the most appropriately skilled professional and at the time of need.

Patients will be at the centre of care planning, commissioning, delivery & support, resulting in a greater focus on ill-health prevention, delivering proactive & responsive care when it is needed and helping to maintain patients’ independence for as long as possible.
Formal publication of the tender for this opportunity is anticipated in 2016/17.

NHS Bromley CCG will host market events to provide further clarification of the requirements of each lot and the procurement process.

Please note that the purpose of this notice is to inform the market of NHS Bromley CCG’s intention to procure their Community Services. At this stage, potential providers are only asked to submit an Expression of Interest in one or more of the above lots. Organisations who register an Expression of Interest will be advised of any subsequent arrangements once these are confirmed.
NHS Bromley CCG reserves the right to change, modify or stop any part of the process at any time.
