Scope: Estate Agents for sales and lettings of commercial properties
Description:
The council has a number of current and future properties that need to be sold or let to tenants. We will regularly need to instruct professional outside agency assistance to ensure a fast, efficient and cost-effective way of achieving a best value sale or letting.
The Council is planning to procure a single commercial estate agent on a call off contract. Instructions will be on an ad hoc basis initially over a period of two years. There will be an option, at the Council’s sole discretion, to extend for a further two years.
The initial list of properties to be sold totals an estimated value of £3.4m, and initial lettings have an annual rental value of £300,000.

The exercise will consist of written responses to the areas of this document identified as requiring response.
The Council reserves the right to hold subsequent meetings with those that have responded to the written questions (Participants). Any such meetings would be to discuss the responses to the questions in further detail, and would be held via MS TEAMS.
Deadline for clarification questions is 13th June 2025, and deadline for responses to be submitted is 12 noon, 18th June 2025
