      II.2.4) Description of procurement: The main purpose of this framework is to appoint experienced and competent contractors to undertake Supply and Installation of External Wall Insulation, Render Systems , Internal Wall Insulation and associated insulation, builders and ancillary works for high and low rise programmes. The EEM Membership combined property stock is in excess of 1 million properties typically consisting of a mixture of domestic housing stock, , bungalows blocks of flats, and sheltered housing schemes as well as garages, communal buildings, corporate buildings, hospitals, student accommodation , universities and depots.

Whilst Externa and Internal l wall insulation and render system projects will form the main requirements of this framework, contractors may also be required to undertake any of the following as part of an existing programme; hybrid systems, roofs, virgin lofts or loft top ups along with any associated or related or ancillary builders works.

Installers must be BBA approved and part of the Insulated Render and Cladding Association (INCA) or the National Insulation Association (NIA) whilst ensuring they are fully compliant with the latest PAS standards throughout the lifetime of the framework.

The framework structure has been split into two lots based upon the number of properties involved within a member’s call off scheme. Lot 1 is for Schemes no larger than 30 properties. Due to the wide spread locations of EEM Contracting Authorities, the two main lots are further split down into regional sub-lots based on geographical locations, there will be a maximum of 4 contractors appointed to each of the sub lots listed below

•Sub-Lot 1 – Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire
•Sub-Lot 2 – Leicestershire and Northamptonshire
•Sub-Lot 3 – Lincolnshire
