      II.2.4) Description of procurement: Wandsworth Borough Council is seeking a Contractor to design, supply and install a fire detection and alarm system within the Wandsworth Civic Campus. The Contractor will also be required to provide maintenance services to the system when required. Tenderers will be required to design a fire detection and alarm solution which provides flexibility and is future proof to align to any changes in the civic campus buildings over the next 5-10 years.

The Contract will be for a period of 5 years with the option to agree on any number of extensions of up to a further 5 years at the Council’s absolute discretion.

    The Council will incorporate a minimum 10 calendar day standstill period at the point information on the award of the contracts is communicated to tenderers. Applicants and Bidders who are unsuccessful shall be informed bythe Councils as soon as possible after the decision has been made as to the reasons why the Applicant or Bidder was unsuccessful. If an appeal regarding the award of the contract has not been successfully resolved, The PublicContracts Regulations 2015 (SI 2015 No.102) provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by breach of the rules to take legal action.
