| Description: | The University Of Essex seeks to create a framework agreement to facilitate the delivery of our summer accommodation cleaning requirements at our Colchester Campus over the next 4 years, commencing April 2018. Up to 7 suitably experienced and capable contractors will be awarded positions on the framework. Call off contracts for individual cleaning service packages will be placed either by direct award or mini-competition, at the discretion of the University. Contractors will be required to clean student accommodation in preparation for delegates attending summer events at the University. This activity requires a high level of contractor operative resource to be applied over several short periods during each summer to cover the circa 800 rooms that will require cleaning during the space of just a few days. Therefore, a proven track record in successfully resourcing, training and managing sufficient resources must be demonstrated. In addition, the Framework Contractors may be requested to deliver other Ad Hoc cleaning services as and when required. These services will be called off via direct award using the schedule of rates submitted or via mini-competition. Contractors must be able to deliver both types of cleaning service required. In order to express an interest and participate in the tender process, applicants not already registered must sign up to the e-sourcing website as a supplier at: www.delta-esourcing.com Once registered, applicants must access the tender event and download the tender pack at: https://www.paessex.gov.uk/respond/X83846546H During the period 12/02/2018 to 05/03/2018 only, all applicants must attend the University of Essex Colchester Campus to survey and fully understand the service location and its requirements. All points of service clarification will be recorded and shared with other applicants. Applicant visits to Campus are by appointment only and must be arranged with the University Of Essex Accommodation Team, contact details of which are included within the tender document. |
