For the provision of all catering for the Secure unit including three meals, two snacks and other provision e.g. buffet. The Lunch meal has to meet the Food in Schools Standard. We are also looking for providers that will be able to provide added value, for example finding proactive ways of engaging with the children. There are 12 children at any one time (ranging from ages 10 to 18 years old) in the unit and anything from 6 to 21 staff that will require catering on any one day. The Secure Unit is in Sleaford.The existing contract is currently managed by a single supplier delivering all aspects of the contract. It is anticipated that this contract will last for approximately 4 years; with the possibility of an additional 2 year extension should the contract performance be satisfactory.
